EX Hya Spectrum

The ASCA SIS spectrum of the magnetic cataclysmic variable EX Hya. Emission lines of Ne, Mg, Si, S, Ar, and Fe have been detected. The intensity ratios of these lines prove that X-ray emitting plasma of a range (<1 keV to >5 keV) of temperatures co-exist in this system.
