We have discovered five supernova candidates in CSS images from UT dates Nov 18th, Dec 4th, Dec 22nd and Dec 31st. The detections have the following parameters:

|CSS081222:121150+155451||2008-12-22 UT 13:07:41||RA 12:11:50.13||Dec 15:54:51.3||Mag 19.3|
|CSS081231:082817+302454||2008-12-31 UT 08:12:38||RA 08:28:17.15||Dec 30:24:54.8||Mag 17.9|
CSS081118:025315+200613 is located by an SDSS galaxy with Gunn u,g,r,i,z magnitudes (22.3, 22.0, 21.3, 20.9, 22.2). This object was seen in CSS and P60 images from Nov 18, Nov 20 and Dec 20 UT. CSS081204:110933+272440 is associated with an SDSS galaxy with mags (23.6, 21.7, 21.3, 21.4, 20.9). This transient was seen in CSS and P60 images from Dec 4 and Dec 5 UT. CSS081222:093950+070347 appears to be associated with galaxy SDSS_J093948.83+070357.1 mags (18.7, 17.8, 17.4, 17.2, 17.1) having redshift 0.019. This supernova is seen in CSS and P60 images from Dec 22 and Dec 30 UT. CSS081222:121150+155451 appears to be associated with a faint SDSS object (25.2, 22.9, 22.6, 22.2, 21.7). This candidate is seen in CSS and P60 images from Dec 5, Dec 22 and Dec 30 UT. CSS081231:082817+302454 most closely matches an SDSS object with mags (24.2, 22.4, 22.5, 21.8, 21.1) and resides near Abell cluster 671 (at redshift 0.05). This object is seen in CSS images from Nov 30 and Dec 31 UT.We request photometric and spectroscopic follow-up.
