MAXI/GSC detected an increase in X-ray intensity from 4U 1323-619, a dipping LMXB X-ray burster, starting on January 15. Its flux in the 4-10 keV band reached 36 mCrab on January 19. An activity of this flux level was also seen in late August 2009. Since 2009 September 11, the flux has been almost constant at about 12 mCrab. The current flux (36 mCrab) is significantly higher than the historical fluxes at pointed observations (10-25 mCrab) except for the flux (~50 mCrab) at an XMM observation in 2003 (ref. Balucinska-Church et al. 2009, A&A 500, 873). The MAXI/GSC light curve and image are updated daily at the following URL: http://maxi.riken.jp/sourcelist.html Follow-up multiwavelength observations are encouraged.
