The newly reported AGILE source, AGL J2206+6203 ( ATel #2403 ) was also within the INTEGRAL IBIS/ISGRI partially coded field of view (off axis angle >~ 9 degrees) during the detection window of AGILE (20-25 January 2010).

From 22-01-2010 at 20:55 UTC to 26-01-2010 at 1:45 UTC (effective exposure time on AGL J2206+6203, 37 ks) INTEGRAL was monitoring the region around the SNR Cas A (PI Pierrick Martin). AGL J2206+6203 was not detected in the mosaicked image of these observations. We derived a 5 sigma c.l. upper limit on the source flux of 10 and 20 mCrab in the 20-40 and 40-80 keV energy bands, respectively.

By using also the observations of the same field of view that were carried out by INTEGRAL from 08-01-2010 at 14:41 UTC to 22-01-2010 at 20:55 UTC (PI Pierrick Martin), we were able to extend the IBIS/ISGRI on source exposure time up to 443 ks and obtained an improved 5 sigma upper limit on the source flux of 3 and 5 mCrab in the 20-40 keV and 40-80 keV energy bands, respectively.

We noticed that, during these observations, AGL J2206+6203 was also within the JEM-X field of view for about ~3 ks (on 09-01-2010 at 22:25 UTC). Due to the relatively short exposure time, only a poorly constraining upper limit on the source energy flux could be obtained (~1/5 of the Crab flux in the 3-10 keV energy band).

According to the current short term planning, no other INTEGRAL observations of the field of AGL J2206+6203 are scheduled for the next weeks.
