We report on EVLA monitoring of the symbiotic system V407 Cyg following its recent nova outburst, which has been detected from radio to gamma-ray energies (see ATels #2487, #2506, #2511, #2514, #2529, #2536, and #2546). EVLA monitoring began on 2010 April 3, approximately 3 weeks after the start of the optical outburst (CBET #2199), with observation epochs spaced by several days to ~ 2 weeks. The frequency coverage of these observations is 1.4-45 GHz, and we detect V407 Cyg at all times and all frequencies, with flux densities of 3-65 mJy. The initial spectrum is well-described by a power-law with spectral index ~0.6 (S_nu ~ nu^alpha), consistent with thermal emission from a partially optically-thick, expanding shell. The subsequent observations reveal an ongoing transition to optically thin emission, starting with a turnover at the highest frequencies which decreases in frequency as the spectrum evolves. We have posted light curves and spectra on our V407 Cyg EVLA monitoring web page, and will update these as we acquire additional data.
