Swift Ultraviolet/Optical Telescope (UVOT) and X-Ray Telescope (XRT) observations of the type Ic SN 2006lc (IAUC 8766, CBET 693) began at 2006-10-25 13:19 (UT). The following UVOT magnitudes/upper limits (3-sigma) were measured for SN 2006lc in summed images: V = 17.2 (362 s exposure), B = 18.3 (428 s), U = 18.3 (520 s ), UVW1 [181-321nm] > 18.9 (1041 s), UVM2 [166-268 nm] > 19.7 (1040 s), and UVW2 [112-264 nm] > 19.1 (1447 s). Systematic errors are approximately 0.1 mag each and the high background makes the statistical errors about 0.2 mags each. These magnitudes have not been corrected for extinction.No X-ray source is detected at the position of the SN in the 4.0 ks XRT observation obtained simultaneously. The 3-sigma upper limit to the XRT net count rate is 3.6 E-03 cts/s, corresponding to a (0.2-10 keV) X-ray flux and luminosity of < 2.0 E-13 ergs/cm/cm/s and < 1.1 E41 ergs/s, respectively, for an adopted thermal plasma spectrum with a temperature of kT = 10 keV, a Galactic foreground column density of N_H = 5.5E+20 (Dickey & Lockman, 1990, ARAA. 28, p215) and a distance of 68 Mpc (z=0.016, NED; H_o = 71 km/s/Mpc, Omega_M = 1/3, Omega_L = 2/3).
