Colour ControlDevices which have colour that can be defined by the user are serviced by the command qcl>TABLE GRP_CTABLE GRP_CTABLE must be a file name of a formatted file containing the colour intensities to be set for the appropriate colour indices. Each line of the file must contain four values; an integer colour index (within the range appropriate for the current device), followed by a red, blue and green intensity all real numbers in the range 0 to 1. Even if the device doesn't support colour the colour indices can still be used to control grey levels etc. The command qcl>COLOUR GRP_NCOLOUR will set the colour index for all subsequent drawing of lines, markers and text to the index GRP_NCOLOUR. If this index is out of range for the current device an error message will be issued. The current mapping of the colour indices can be displayed as a bar on the right of the current user coordinate area using the command qcl>CBAR [Next: Interactive Cursor] [Previous: General Plotting] [Back to GRP Commands] |
