Creating a New Container File

A new HDS container file can be created using

qcl>NEW HDF_CFILE

The container file will initially be empty and can be accessed directly by setting HDS_NODE. For example to create joke.sdf and set the top level of the new file as the current structure object requires:

qcl>HDS_NODE='joke.sdf'
qcl>NEW HDS_NODE
