Application Programs

QCL is designed to control suites of applications programs which use a common set of parameters. Complex sequences of data processing tasks can be executed with the minimum of fuss either interactively or in a batch fashion. The Leicester Parameter System for parameter I/O is used to achieve this and the reader is advised to refer to documentation about this system before proceding with this section.
