Ginga Specific Software: Program CATGETPurposeProgram catget obtains a time interval from the user in either Gregorian or Modified Julian Date and interrogates a specified series of catalogues, extracting records which are in the time interval. These are written to a catalogue named by the user. The catalogues to be interrogated are defaulted to all those known, unless overridden outside the program or on the command line. Input FilesSpecified series of catalogue files. Output FileA catalogue file containing records within the user specified time interval. The catalogue is a text file with fixed length (132 byte) records, containing a list of FRF names. It is thus possible to edit the catalogue using any available text editor. Input ParametersCatget requires four input parameters. The QX parameter system is used to read these parameters.
Output ParametersCatget returns three output parameters. The QX parameter system is used to display these parameters.
