Examining HK dataIt is often necessary and useful to plot HK parameters against time, or against LAC count rate, or against other HK parameters. The SUD rate is frequently plotted against V1 electrode (LAC anode wires not illuminated via the collimator; PI_MONI) rate, for example, to ensure that their linear relationship is being maintained (Hayashida et al. 1989). Plotting the SUD rate against time is also common, as this reveals periods of high background. Examples of the program select are given in section 5. The sorted data files created by sortac contain various HK parameters binned at the same time resolution as the science data. A list of the parameters included is given in appendix B. HK and LAC data from cubes and time series can be plotted using the qcl procedure pl_ginga.qcl (see section 6.3). [Next: Post-sortac] [Previous: Solar X-rays] [Back to Data Analysis] |
