Locating an observation and retrieving the dataThe usual way of locating an observation is via the GINGAFRF database table. The database may be searched by using browse or ARNIE to identify the FRFs corresponding to a particular source name, coordinate position, etc. The default sample available corresponds to pointed data only; to locate scanning or slewing observations it is necessary to select the "total" sample using the "csam total" command from within browse; this sample is not accessible with ARNIE. The desired FRFs may then be retrieved using the "xp" command from within browse or by clicking the links in ARNIE. A full description of the database table is available from both browse and ARNIE.
